Mission Statement
"The Junior Recruit Photographic Museum will promote greater community awareness and respect for Junior Recruits - their commitment and contribution to the nation of Australia".
Ex Junior Recruits will be encouraged to donate and/or share photographic memorabilia for preservation and display in the Junior Recruit Photographic Museum.
This Museum will initially be located on the Internet. We will endeavor to hold exhibitions at selected Australia wide venues for promotional purposes some time in the future.
These photos will be copied, cataloged and preserved for future research and reproduction.
It is the aim of JRPM to become the premier repository of the pictorial history of the Junior Recruit Training Scheme due to the collection of private photographs from the JR's and their families.
The collection will span the years 1960 - 1984.
Public photos will be researched and permission obtained to have copies retained in the JRPM archives for display to Junior Recruits and their friends and families.
